Hello,
2hearts1horizon is the brainchild of me, Johnny Killmore, and my partner Kate Kriebel. While I am a seasoned motorcyclist and traveler, Kate has only recently been inspired to
try out two wheels. Currently we only travel together around California but there is probably no better place to start adventuring by motorcycle. Kate has found no trouble in dealing with the weather and breakdowns and often-cramped conditions found while riding 2-up on a motorcycle, but as we set out further from home she has expressed more interest in taking the handlebars in her own hands. This would allow more room for gear and therefore bigger adventures.
We intend to document Kate’s beginnings as she learns motorcycles as well as our short trips around California in the meantime. Using our different views and experience levels it is our hope that we provide a unique perspective that anyone can enjoy, motorcyclist or not. Whether you are a grizzled traveler or just like to read stories of other people’s travels, we hope to entertain, inform, and inspire.
This website is the bare-bones start before we can build something, but we invite you to settle in and subscribe, while also looking at out Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest feeds (keyword: 2hearts1horizon). We already have some adventures to add, but that will be for another time.
